Age Verification with Yoti

LiveBalance use Yoti (an independent provider certified to recognized security standards) to run an age check.

How it works:

• Take a selfie: You'll be asked to allow camera access and take a selfie.
• Get the result: Yoti uses facial age estimation to check whether you meet the required age threshold.
• What we receive: We don't receive or store your selfie. We only receive the outcome of Yoti's age check based on facial age estimation (for example, whether you meet the required age threshold: pass/fail).
• Selfie deletion: Yoti deletes your selfie after the check.

If the check fails or seems incorrect

You can contact our Support team. Support will guide you through the next steps and may ask you to share additional proof of age for review.
